After I got to campus only to find that that lab with the video editing stuff was closed, I moved on to the next thing on my list - going to the Department of Licensing to get my drivers license renewed. I took two busses, the second of which dropped me across the street from this giant field of snow:

That is not a huge field of snow, but what you cannot tell from this picture is that it was quite windy, and according to the Internet, with the wind chill it was several degrees below 0 Farenheit. On the plus side, the wind was blowing the snow into these cool wavy dune-esque patterns. It was lovely, until I stepped into the snow field and discovered how deep it was.

I took this picture to show how deep it was, but you can't really tell, so I'll explain: in this picture, I've got snow up just past my knee. So, I had to trek through sub-zero temperatures, with strong wind, across a large (well, medium-sized, anyway) field to get the licensing place. It was a treacherous expotition. But after my trek, I finally reached the Department of Licensing:

No! It's closed! My trek was fruitless. This is a picture of me being sad about it.
